The inaugural edition of SARSYC took place in Harare, Zimbabwe, from the 27th to the 29th of August. Under the theme ‘Youth SRH and the Post-2015 Agenda: A Time to Invest in Young People to Harness the Demographic Dividend in Southern Africa,’ this edition emphasized the importance of investing in young people to leverage the demographic dividend, setting the stage for future editions of SARSYC.
