Call for Conference Speakers & Facilitators

We are excited to announce the 5th edition of the Southern African Regional Students and Youth Conference (SARSYC) which is running from the 17th of 19th of July in Botswana. This conference serves as a platform for young people, policymakers, researchers, civil society organizations, and development partners from across the Southern African community to discuss innovative and collaborative approaches for youth-centric education and health policies. Theme for the 5th edition is “Building Bridges, Navigating Emerging Issues: Advancing Equitable Access to Public Health and Education”. This significant event will take place from the 17th to the 19th of July 2024 in Botswana.
We are currently seeking dynamic speakers who are passionate about advocacy. If you are interested in advocacy, have compelling stories to share, and are eager to shape policy and programing discussions that impact the Southern African youth, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Facilitators:
• Providing leadership in the assigned session to ensure thought-provoking discussions.
• Facilitate the engagement of participants to ensure productive, fair, and tolerant discussions.
• Coordinate with speakers and panelists for smooth session transitions.

Speakers:
• Delivering engaging, informative, and compelling presentations on the topic of expertise, through technical presentations or as panelists in panel discussions
• Stimulating tolerant, thought provoking and evidence-based discussions.
• Engaging with attendees through questions and answer sessions.
